This is the first of a series of chair I designed that I will post. However, I designed this chair almost a year ago but I did built it because I have access to a workshop. The next chair I will post next time also would be designed and built by me. Try to enjoy until I start to crank out some digitally made chair.

What is a build-build kinda of architecture? How is it different from any type of architecture? I've been thinking tediously about this topic and I now have several things to say. Hopefully those that are reading this will comment on the ideas I'm putting out. I believe great architecture make people happy. They have to delight those who are occupying the space. The only way I think to delight is not just a crazy looking form but a nice compostion and most important of all is the way things are constructed. I feel that architects and/students are not thinking deeply about composition and craft. They think of a crazy form that they don't know how to build in real life. They will give that building issue to an engineer. Actually, the client hire you to build and not the engineer. What make a building beauiful is the experience of going thought it and cherish the compositions, craftmanship, details, and materials of a building. We want the people in our buildng to experience a space that is hand made and not computerize and industrialize space. It is like replacing a picaso painting with a print out of some computer art.

Hopefully I'll have some new things to say...or my co-blogger will put up an entry.

I think I'll design some new furnitures...but it's gonna be on sketchbook and 3d model...I wish I have a shop to build things

I have to thank Matt or Irish Diesel for generating this architecture blog idea. We both pretty much believe what and how architecture should be in the future. We kinda mimic the crazy architecture finest in the past but we are not about crazy blob. We are about building. I personally think that for me to call or consider an architecture beautiful, I don't look at the overall form. I look at nice details or a nice way of making or constructing to make me say beautiful. We believe that architecture is getting too computerize and industrialize. We want to scale it back and let people build it and experience it. This is what this blog is about.
